8th Shuttlers Corporate Badminton Tournament

OyePlay is pleased to invite all Badminton players to participate in 8th Shuttlers corporate Badminton Tournament, organized and managed by OyePlay. The tournament is exclusively for corporate players.
The event will be held at OMR Badminton Academy Chennai 03rd and 04th Feb -2018. Coaches and players working in sport management companies are not allowed strictly. To manage event well and to save time for everyone, the exact time of each match will be provided.
Awards and prizes: Winners/runners-ups and of each category will get trophies and t-shirts. All the semi-finalists of each category will get a medal. Winners and runners-up will also get surprise gifts.
Format: - Team event consists of 2 men Singles, 1 men doubles. Minimum 2 and maximum 4 members required to form a team. All the team members should be from the same company. The team event will be league cum knock out format. All the matches in team event will be 30 points without extension including final. - Players participating in team event can participate in individual categories also (2 singles and 1 doubles) in the same registration fee. - All the matches in individual categories will be of knock out format. All the matches till semifinals will be played for 30 points without extension. Final will be played for best of 3 games, each of 21 points without extension. - In Doubles event mix corporate is allowed and different company players can form the team.
Provided by the organizer: - Yonex Feather Shuttle and courts to play the match will be provided. - Lunch and fruits will be provided. - Technical staff/ Referee to conduct the matches will be provided. - The tournament committee will provide for basic first aid kit on the ground. In case a player gets injured and needs medical attention, all the medical expenses have to be borne by the player or his company. Under no circumstances, Tournament Committee can be held liable for any such expenses.
