Overview

Brace yourself to find the breathtaking panoramic view of the Kodachadri Hills in Valur, Karnataka. The 1343 meter altitude where the hills are situated at has a dense forest around. Every year the peak is explored by thousands of people. Whet your stamina to climb the tricky terrains on this 2-day trekking trip from Bangalore and reach the top of the hill where you will be able to grasp the enormous stretches of the Western Ghats.
The plethora of natural spectacles in Kodachadri won’t be ending. Visit Hidlumane Waterfalls on your trip in addition to your tour of Nagara fort as well.

Itinerary

Day 0
The journey from Bangalore
Take an overnight journey from Bangalore on Friday.
Day 1
Reach base camp at 7 am, where you will be freshening up and having a hot breakfast.
Post breakfast, start trekking to Hidlumane falls first and later proceed further to the peak of Kodachadri, along with your lunch packed.
Explore the thickets and the panoramic views from the top & start descending back Descend after some time and reach the homestay.
Freshen up and have a sumptuous dinner following which, relax by the bonfire.
Overnight stay at a homestay.
Day 2
Return and Departure
After breakfast, head out to Nagara fort. Witness the ancient beauty protected well at the fort & head to Jog falls.
Following after lunch, begin the return journey.
Back to Bangalore with lots of memories

Level of Trek: Moderate. Descending Jeep can be accessed

If the participant cannot participate in the event, other participants can join the event.
The duration of the trek may vary, depends on the walks by participants.
Alcohol is not allowed during the treks.
MYHIKES is not responsible for any injury/accident during the treks or traveling.

Participants must follow the trek place formalities from the government & by local guides or village people.
Damage done for sleeping bags & tents from the participant during the event must be paid by self by taking the product.
Event cost includes all taxes no extra will be charged.
Minibusses, Buses or Tempo traveler will be the mode of transportation depending on the group size.
Discounts will be given for a corporate/college/bulk booking.
We do not have control over drivers, as we are based on 3rd party for travel.
