The Trek
At a height of 6,330 ft, Mullayyangiri is the highest peak in Karnataka. Yes, we will be scaling this peak as part of our trek via "Sarpa Dhari" ! Don't worry, although it sounds daunting, the trek is pretty moderate & presents a spectacular view of the Western Ghats throughout the way. At the peak, is a temple & a cave which can be explored. From there, we continue our trek towards Bababudangiri & you will be welcomed by a Green carpet through out this route. It is an absolute paradise for nature lovers & photographers!
You will stay in a wonderful homestay, which has a very rich heritage. The food served will force you to lick your fingers. Get ready to taste the food of Malnad! Bonfire at the night should keep you warm in the chilled night.
We will visit the Jhari falls or Dabdabbe falls if time permits in the evening or visit a private waterfall in the morning. The first dip will definitely make you shiver but after sometime, be ready to experience Nirvana here! One of the best waterfalls of the Western Ghats!
while returning, we will also visit the very famous historic sites of Belur or Halebidu

9:30 am : Trek Begins
2:30 pm : have lunch
5:30 pm : Visit Waterfalls

8:00 pm : Dinner,Music & Campfire
Day-2 : Sep 30th, Saturday
9:00 am : Have breakfast & Check-out
12 noon : Visit Belur or Halebidu temple
10:00 pm : Reach Bangalore
