Format
League + Knockout
-The Points Calculation
For each match: A team gets 3 points if you win, 1 point if draw and 0 points in case team lose.
If two teams have the same points, we will take the goals scored and the goals received into account in the league stage.
-League Stage
There will be a total of 16 teams, 4 teams will be in a group, and there will be 4 groups.
Each group will have 4 matches
Each team gets 3 confirmed matches
The team reaching finals will have a total of 6 matches
The first two teams from each group on the basis of points will be selected for quarterfinals.
-Knockout Stage
Quarter final onwards will be a knockout system.
If the match is draw, penalties will be given to both teams to decide the winner.
Penalty shootouts will only be played during knockout competitions. Every player on the field at the final whistle must take one kick each with the non-striking leg stationed, (i.e. 5 shots each team) and if scores are still level sudden death rules apply.
Sudden death when a team reaches a goal advantage after an equal amount of shots per team.
Note: These Rules may be added to or amended at any time for valid reasons.
Terms & Conditions
Games will be played on a modified-size field. The boundaries will be clearly identified on the grass. The goal keeper’s area will be the small box directly in front of the goal.
Regulation size 5 size footballs will be used.
Teams may have a maximum of 8 players per team; 5 players are on the field at one time; 4 open-field players and 1 goalkeeper. 3 rolling substitutions.
The referee must be notified if the goalkeeper is changed.
All players within a team must wear the same color playing shirt or uniform. In the event there is clash between two teams, bibs will be supplied.
All players must wear appropriate sporting footwear.
Shin pads are highly recommended.
The group matches will be 2 x 10-minute halves with a 10-minute break for halftime.
The Quarterfinals matches will be 2 x 15-minute halves with a 15-minute break for halftime.
The Semifinals matches will be 2 x 15-minute halves with a 15-minute break for halftime.
The Finals match will be 2 x 25-minute halves with a 15-minute break for halftime.
NOTE: All players should submit a copy of ID proof to the organizers to participate in this tournament.
