Overview
Madras Cycling Rally (MCR’16) is organised by Youth and Sports Development Consortium, Chaired by Honourable Justice Dr. T.N. Vallinayagam. MCR’16 will create awareness of Pollution and issues related to health. This event promotes how to lead a healthy life and sustainable means of transport in day to day life.

30 km Cycling for Professionals - Rs. 300, 20 km Cycling for Amateurs - Rs. 300, 10 km Cycling for Physically Challenged - Rs. 300 and 5 km Cycling for Children below 12 years - Rs. 300
Rules
Participants must bring their own Cycle and accessories. There shall be no support/service vehicle during the race. Registrations close on 24th September 2016. Only one participant can register for the event using a single e-mail id for registration. It is important that you do not submit more than one entry per person. Participant, once registered under any category, cannot cancel his/her registration. There will be no refund of registration fees paid by the participant in case of his/her failure to participate in the event. The participants are required to report 1 hour before the ride start time. The time for flag off will be 4.30 AM. Participants suffering from serious physical health problems may not be permitted to participate. No medical insurance will be provided by the organizers to the participants. Any kind of cheating or misbehaviour with any of the participants during the cycling rounds, if noticed by the event management team, shall lead to immediate action. The routes are subject to change by prior intimation. All rights reserved by the organisers.

30 km – Starts from War Memorial continues on to Kamaraj Promenade, Santhome High Road, Greenways Road, DGS Dinakaran Road, Thiru-Vi-Ka Bridge, Besant Avenue Road, to make a U Turn at Elliot’s Promenade, and drive through same route to complete the task. 20 km – Starts from War Memorial continues on to Kamaraj Promenade, Santhome High Road, Greenways Road, DGS Dinakaran Road, Thiru-Vi-Ka Bridge to make a U Turn at Aavin Parlour, and drive through same route to complete the task. 10 km – Starts from War Memorial and continues on to Kamaraj Promenade, to make a U Turn at Light House, and drive through same route to complete the task. 5 km – Starts from War Memorial and continues on to Kamaraj Promenade, to make a U Turn at Kannagi Statue, and drive through same route to complete the task. Participation Certificate and Medal will be provided. Good refreshment, sports drink and water will be available.
