Makalidurga Hill is 60 km from the outskirts of Bangalore. At a height of 4430ft and being only 10 Kms ahead of Doddaballapura this place is a perfect weekend trekking destination. It is a beautiful hill surrounded by a lake on the west which looks like the South American continent. A railway track passes through the base of the hill which makes this trek even more interesting. The Makalidurga Fort is on top of the hill which enables one to capture the most beautiful sunset and sunrise from the hilltop. There is abundance of the country vicinity at Makalidurga and for all the adventure enthusiasts the ideal way to do trekking at Makalidurga is to start it from the Makalidurga Railway Station which adds a vintage style to the trekking for the hill.
Get ready for a crazy night camp - An adventurous early morning trek followed by Music & Dance at the top will be something you will cherish. The view of sunrise from the top is beautiful and after descending down, we will also take a dip in the nearby lake!

9 PM:Pick-up from various locations in Bangalore.
11:30 PM : Reach base and camp next to lake.
22nd April, Saturday
5:30 AM : Fresh-up & Begin the trek
8:00 AM : Reach the peak - Shiva temple. Settle down, Music & Activities
10:00 AM : Have B/F & start descending
11:30 AM : Some fun at the Lake. Swimmers can swim too
2:00 PM : Have self-sponsored lunch
6:00 PM : Reach back Bangalore.
