The Trek : Nishani Motte / Betta is relatively unknown peak in the range of Bhagamandala (Talacauvery) range, Coorg. It is about 335 Km from Bangalore
Starting out in rich shola forests and meadows the trail follows an impressive ridge walk to the summit. The peak offers a spectacular view of the layers of the Brahmagiri range. The Nishani Motte trek is guided by well versed Tala Cauvery Forest Department guide who are well aware of the route and wild animal zones. The challenges, location, view, distance and overnight journey from Bangalore makes it an ideal destination for weekend getaways.
Talacauvery: It is the place that is generally considered to be the source of the river Kaveri. It is located by Brahmagiri hill near Bhagamandala in Kodagu district Karnataka, 1,276 m. above sea level. However, there is not a permanent visible flow from this place to the main rivercourse except during the rainy season
Abbe Falls: is in Kodagu in the western Ghats in Karnataka. It is located 268 km from Bangalore. The waterfall is located between private coffee plantation with stocky coffee bushes and spice estates with trees entwined with pepper vines. A hanging bridge constructed just opposite the falls. This falls is converted into a coffee and spices plantation that surrounds the waterfall today.

Day 1 - 9th September, Saturday 07:00 AM : Reach Bhagamandala in morning.,freshen-up & have breakfast. 10:00 AM : Bhagamandala to the Base of Nishani Motte. 11:00 AM : Start Hiking towards The Peak of Nishanimotte. 2:00 PM : Reach Forest department’s anti-poaching centre and have our packed lunch. 5:00 PM : Reaching back to base camp. 8:30 PM : Dinner & Bonfire.
