OVERVIEW
Aadukalam SuperCup is a yearly Ever-rolling Multi-Sport Tournament, with the inaugural edition of the tournament starting in November 2019. The tournament will host multiple sports across the year.The inaugural edition to be held in Coimbatore in November 2019 will host three sports, Kabaddi, 7-a-side Football and Tennis ball cricket. Future editions of the tournament will host other sports.This years event is located in Coimbatore, with KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology and Coimbatore Institute of Technology being the main venue partners, apart from venues in over ten other colleges in Coimbatore.
The object of the tournament is to identify sporting talent in Tamilnadu and the rest of India and to provide exposure to participants in a competition environment. The money raised from the tournament will be used to provide financial aid for deserving sporting talent and for the development of community sports infrastructure.
Being an open tournament it is expected to be a fiercely contested event with teams from colleges and sports clubs from all across India. We are in advanced talks with some players from the ISL, TNPL, Tamilnadu Kabaddi Association and international players to be part of participating teams. With over 400 teams expected to participate across three tournaments, and a total cash prize of over Rs. 20.00,000/-, for the three sports combined, Aadukalam Supercup 2019 is expected to be the biggest open sports tournament in Tamilnadu.
The event will be promoted in all major metro cities and across Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka and rest of India. Direct promotions, mainly including, Large advertising hoardings ,bus shelter advertising, bus back advertising , auto advertising, flyer distributions, etc will be done in Coimbatore and surrounding cities. There will also be a vast amount of promotion on social media networks including Facebook, Instagram and twitter.. Our team in final talks with three ministers from prominent political parties in Tamilnadu, to be part of the final prize distribution ceremony . Much has been planned for the upcoming event, including music performances and celebrity appearances from the film industry. Our Team is in talks with Celebrities including Ma Ka Pa Anand, Hip Hop Aadhi, Priyanka, Harija among others and they have confirmed their presence for our closing ceremony, time permitting. Live coverage of the event will be broadcasted on local television, apart from being covered on radio by our FM partners. The event will also have live coverage available on Facebook and YouTube.
