Who are we?
- We are a group of passionate travelers from Bangalore who have traveled in and around India. We have come together to start a travel company with a motto see less, experience more.
In Adventure Buddha, we provide weekend getaways from Bangalore to the lesser-known places or offbeat places.
How are we Unique?
- Our tours are organized for a small group of 12 to 20 members per trip to make sure personalized care is given to each and every individual.we will create an ambiance that will resemble a group of close buddies traveling together on a fun vacation.
- We will change the whole impression of how a guided tour works, our tour guides, will not just accompany you, they will also be actively involved in every way possible to keep the whole ambiance fun-filled and peppy.
- We make sure, we offer you stay in local homestays; you are provided with home-cooked authentic regional food and a local or native guide who knows in and out of the place. By doing this we make sure the environment, local communities, and the economy of the place we visit are benefited.

Coorg & Mandalpatti Adventures Itinerary
Day 0 (05/01/2024, Friday)
- Start From Bangalore at 10:00 PM.
Day 1 (06/01/2023, Saturday)
- Reach the spellbinding homestay, located amongst the ever-green forests of the Western Ghats with greenery all around.
- Freshen up and have breakfast.
- Head to the Mandalpatti hill station in Offroad Jeep Ride.
- Enjoy the mesmerizing views of green mountains throughout with lush greenery everywhere
- Take countless selfies and relax by the view.
- Head To the beautiful and famous Abbey Falls.
- Have a packed lunch and start towards the age-old Omkareshwara Temple.
- Head to Raja’s seat viewpoint for a fabulous view of the sun setting.
- Enjoy the Sunset and start towards homestay.
- Enjoy the campfire(subjected to weather conditions), with singing, dancing, and showcasing other talents.
- Relish the local cuisine dinner and sign off for the day.
Day 2 (07/01/2024, Sunday) v
- Freshen up and sip estate brewed Coffee in the misty morning weather of Coorg.
- Have a nice breakfast, freshen up, pack your bags, and check out of the stay by 8:30 AM.
- Head towards Harangi Elephant Camps and spend some time with Gentle Giant. Please note: Harangi Elephant Camp closes by 10:30 AM and reopens by 4 PM. Hence we request you to please get ready and cooperate with the coordinators.
- Visit Cauvery Nisargadhama
- Head to Tibetan Monastery / Golden Temple and click some amazing pics
- Finish quick Lunch at a local restaurant.
- Start the journey back to Bangalore by late afternoon to reach back home by Dinner time.
Things To Carry
- Water Bottle – a life Savior (2 liters)
- Trekking shoes or hiking boots(helps you walk on different terrain with much ease)
- Backpack to carry all the items you need
- You can carry energy food like (dry fruits, Chocolate bars, Glucose, electrolytes, and flavored milk)
- Trekking pants or trousers (make sure you take comfortable ones)
- Sweaters or Pullovers
- Extra cash for things that are not included in the list
- Raincoat
- Personal medicine if required
- Mosquito repellent cream
- Torch or headlamps
- Flip flops to roam around the campsite
- Towels & Blankets
- Toilet Kit (Toothbrush, toothpaste, & shampoo)
Note: Carry at least one Id proof (Driving License, Voter Id, or Aadhar card)

- Travel from Bangalore To Coorg campsite in Non AC TT / Minibus 🚍(depending upon the number of people)

- Any changes in the pickup location/timings will be informed to you 24 hours in advance
- Drop-off points shall be the same as the pick-up points
Group Size
- 12 to 20 members per trip
- we would maintain an equal male-to-female ratio for most of our trips
- At least 8 members are required to confirm the trip
- In case we fail to get the minimum required numbers, a full amount refund or the option to transfer them to any other future trip will be provided
Important Note
- No alcohol & Drugs during the Trip.
- No Luxury. We assure awesome memories every trip, but not awesome facilities! We provide basic facilities in terms of food, travel & accommodation.
- The itinerary is fixed. No special requests to change itinerary/schedule are permitted
- Absolutely No littering during our travels. We swear to protect our environment.
- Co-operate with the organizer(s) in following the schedule set for the day (especially getting up and getting ready in the morning). This will ensure travelers won’t miss out on the real fun part – that is traveling.
- Every traveler is responsible for his/her for your own safety while traveling with Adventure Buddha. Don’t indulge in any illegal or silly activity that causes harm to you or fellow travelers.
- Unexpected situations: It may happen we do not cover all the places mentioned in the itinerary because of unpredictable reasons like bad weather, wild animal presence, abrupt blocking of sites by the police/forest department, delay in travel because of an issue with our group itself, traffic conditions, etc. In most cases, if time permits, the organizer(s) will take travelers to an alternative place. But in some cases, we may have to skip a place altogether. No Refund will be applicable for any of the above scenarios.
- Travelers are expected to respect each other and help each other. Avoid discussing sensitive matters like sex, politics, and religion/caste/race.
- Travelers / Trippers can pay 50 % of the actual trip fee in Advance to confirm tickets, applicable for trips that are 2 days and above (Which is Non-Refundable) and the rest of the amount needs to be paid before boarding the vehicle.
- Travelers / Trippers have to pay 100 % of the actual trip fee in Advance to confirm tickets for one-day trips/ treks.
- Using foul or abusive language, eve-teasing, arguing with fellow travelers/organizer(s), and/or involving in physical assault will not be accepted and will stand a chance of being deserted by the Adventure Buddha team.

- Tempo Traveller or Mini Bus (with push-back seats).
- Note: This trip involves an overnight journey on a push-back Seater (Not sleeper or semis-sleeper).
- We request you to book this trip only if you can handle slight discomfort (especially the last row of the vehicle).
- Seats are allotted on a first come first serve basis to the pickup point
About Trip
- This trip involves basic facilities in terms of food, travel, and stay without any luxury, whatsoever.
- This is a group trip with a shared model. It may not suit everyone – especially for those expecting privacy and comfort.
- Homestay with cots & beds/ floor mattresses(sharing basis, separate for boys & girls), clean washrooms
- Please do not book this trip if you are not okay with the above points.
Cancellation Policy
- if cancellations are made 7 days before the actual trip date and if you want refund then 10 % of the Total Trip Fare would be charged as a cancellation fee.
- if cancellations are made 3 to 6 days before the actual trip date, 25 % of the Total Trip Fare would be charged as a cancellation fee.
- if cancellations are made 2 days before the actual trip date, 50 % of the Total Trip Fare would be charged as a cancellation fee.
- if cancellations are made 0 to 1 day before the actual trip date, 100 % of the Total Trip Fare would be charged as a cancellation fee.
- In case of any unforeseen situations like bad weather conditions, a political issue or government restrictions complete activity will be canceled and you will receive a full refund.
Terms and Conditions
- Trekking and other outdoor activities provided by the Adventure Buddha depend on various factors and has inherent risks associated to life. Adventure Buddha does its best to reduce all types of risks, discomfort, and hazard to the best of their ability (within financial constraints), yet there are chances of accidents, mishaps, and deficiency in service.
- Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these terms prior to confirming your booking.
- Photography rights: Adventure Buddha reserves the right to take photographs of you during the trip and to use them for promotional purposes. By booking a trip with us, you automatically grant us royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide and irrevocable license for using your images in photographs and videos that may be used for promotional material, website, social media, collateral, and any other marketing and publicity materials.
- Emergency Situations: In the event you fall ill or suffer an accident during the trip, all hospital expenses, doctor fees, repatriation expenses, evacuation from road or mountain, any other charges incurred as a direct or indirect result of your illness/accident are your responsibility.
- Awareness: You accept that the very nature of active, adventure travel requires a degree of personal risk. You are likely to visit places where political, cultural, and geographical attributes might pose certain risks, dangers, and physical challenges. By booking a tour with Adventure Buddha, you accept that you are aware of the personal risks, dangers, and challenges that might arise and that you are aware of the risks involved. You hereby assume all such risks and release Adventure Buddha from all claims and causes of action arising from such damages or injuries or death resulting from these inherent risks. It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with customs, weather conditions, physical challenges, and laws in effect as well as your local embassy contacts in each destination.
- No Drugs and no alcohol consumption: Adventure Buddha doesn’t support Drugs or any sort of alcohol consumption during the journey and as a team, we earnestly request you to not indulge in those practices while you are with us. Smoking is not only injurious to your health but also equally bad for nature. We should ensure that there’s sustainable natural conservation and our acts, in no way hampers that. Also, alcohol consumption might ruin your experience as well as cause discomfort to your fellow mates. No action of intake of drugs or drinking shall be tolerated by Adventure Buddha during the trip/trek.
- Protect the Environment: The entire trip/ trek would be through natural trails and we would spend most of the time in eerie forests, serene valleys, soothing hillsides or at golden beaches. You should know that it’s your duty to protect the environment and not create nuisances on the way by throwing your plastic materials and other wastes like packets of chips or wrappers of chocolates. Adventure Buddha shall not consider any such behavior towards nature. We expect you to be responsible and aware adults. Absolutely No littering during our travels
- Luggage Responsibility: Baggage and personal effects are at your risk throughout the trip. You are solely responsible for your personal belongings while on the trip. Adventure Buddha is not responsible for the loss of baggage, goods, air tickets, passport, cash, traveler’s cheques, or any other travel document or item owned by you while on tour, whatever the cause.
- Trip Behaviour: Using foul or abusive language, eve-teasing, arguing with fellow travelers/organizer(s) and/or involving in the physical assault will not be accepted and will stand a chance of being deserted by Adventure Buddha. Co-operate with the organizer(s) in following the schedule set for the day (especially getting up and getting ready in the morning). This will ensure travelers won’t miss out on the real fun part – that is traveling. Every traveler is responsible for his/her for your own safety while traveling with Adventure Buddha. Don’t indulge in any illegal or silly activity that causes harm to you or fellow travelers.
- Transfer of Trip: You can transfer your tickets to your friends. We would be more than happy to have them on board and you could save your hard-earned money.
- Refund: No refund (Partial or otherwise) will be made if you voluntarily leave or drop out of a trip for any season after the trip has begun. No refunds will be made for any accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, meals or services not utilized. In case, Adventure Buddha cancels the trip due to unforeseen circumstances, it would be happy to suggest you alternative trip/dates. You shall be notified of same. You may accept the alternate trip suggestion, voucher (with one-year redeemable limitation) or request another trip of your choice. The difference in cost, if applicable, will have to be borne by you. Adventure Buddha shall, under no circumstances, be liable for any additional costs, credit card charges, TAC(s), travel arrangements and so on, Refunds in such a scenario will happen as per our cancellation policy. Refunds are not possible for any missed or unused services including voluntary/involuntary termination of the tour on account of sickness, death of a family member, late arrival on the tour etc. It may happen we do not cover all the places mentioned in the itinerary because of unpredictable or unforeseen situations like bad weather, wild animal presence, abrupt blocking of sites by the police/forest department, delay in travel because of an issue with our group itself, traffic conditions, vehicle damage, accidents, etc. In most cases, if the time permits, the organizer(s) will take travelers to an alternative place. But in some cases, we may have to skip a place altogether. No Refund will be applicable for any of the above scenarios. Adventure Buddha is also not liable to pay any compensation for any loss arising as a consequence of trip curtailment, alteration, extension or cancellation due to any reasons. However, you expressly agree that, in any event, the maximum liability of Adventure Buddha will be limited to the trip cost paid to Adventure Buddha.
- Facilities: Adventure Buddha makes every effort to ensure the comfort of our guests, but Adventure Buddha requests you to understand that the amenities around the trekking region may not be the same as the ones you are accustomed to, at home. Weather is another factor that will have a direct impact on your journey. Hence, you are requested to have patience, enthusiasm and be prepared for compromising, before you choose to undertake this journey.
- Promotion: Pictures used on the website and collateral are meant for marketing purposes. These do not imply the inclusion of the pictorial content to be a part of your vacation or any guarantee that you will experience, encounter or view whatever is depicted through the pictures.
- Fitness Responsibility: Adventure Buddha offers trip(s) and trek(s) that require varying levels of fitness. The level of difficulty can be based on the extent of physical stress, the terrain, weather and/or climate. The degree of difficulty for some trips can be physically demanding. To enable you to choose appropriately and prepare accordingly, carefully review the level of difficulty of each trip before booking the same.
- Adventure Buddha doesn’t have any medical expert(s) and it is your responsibility to obtain medical advice, latest health requirements including inoculations and vaccines before you join a trip. Adventure Buddha takes no responsibility for your inability to cope with the level of difficulty on a trip. While there is no age limitation on any of Adventure Buddha trips, any disability, pregnancy, mental or physical or any other medical condition that may affect your fitness to complete the trek must be revealed at the time of booking the trip to Adventure Buddha. You also undertake that you and Your travel companions, for whom You have signed up, do not suffer from any condition or disability that could create a hazard to Your own well being or to others on a trip.
- Itinerary: Adventure Buddha reserves the right to modify or cancel the trip or part of the trip under circumstances, including but not limiting to Acts of God, road blockage, political unrest, sickness, accidents, events beyond Adventure Buddha’s control, etc. Any extra cost arising from such circumstances shall be borne by you on the spot. Wherever possible, Adventure Buddha shall intimate you of such changes in advance or while on the trip. The itinerary is fixed. No special requests to change itinerary/schedule are permitted
- Event Dates: You are solely responsible for verifying the correct dates mentioned on the travel documents.
- Time Management: Punctuality and Time Management: We understand that unforeseen circumstances may occasionally cause participants to be late. However, to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, it is important for all participants to adhere to the scheduled itinerary as closely as possible. In the event of consistent tardiness, the group reserves the right to proceed without the late participant(s) to avoid impacting the overall experience for others. Participants who are late may need to catch up with the group at their own expense and responsibility
- Age: You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Website. By using this app/website and by agreeing to this Agreement you warrant and represent that you are at least 18 years of age.
