About the Event
The Indian Pickleball Association (IPA) is happy to invite your state to participate in the IPA Pickleball Nationals 2025 to be conducted in Bengaluru from the 13th to 16th November, 2025 under the aegis of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MoYAS) and Sports Authority of India (SAI).
The IPA Pickleball Nationals 2025 marks the beginning of a landmark moment for Pickleball in India with this being the first official Nationals post recognition of IPA as the NSF for Pickleball recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
Any player can participate from anywhere in India in the the Open Nationals Categories i.e., player is an Indian Citizen and registered under IPA.
Categories for the Open Individual Pickleball National event
- Under 12: Boys Singles, Boys Doubles, Girls Singles, Girls Doubles, Mixed Doubles
- Under 14: Boys Singles, Boys Doubles, Girls Singles, Girls Doubles, Mixed Doubles
- Under 16: Boys Singles, Boys Doubles, Girls Singles, Girls Doubles, Mixed Doubles
- Under 18: Boys Singles, Boys Doubles, Girls Singles, Girls Doubles, Mixed Doubles
- Open: Men's Singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Singles, Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles
- 30+ age: Men's Singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Singles, Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles
- 40+ age: Men's Singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Singles, Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles
- 50+ age: Men's Singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Singles, Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles
- 60+ age: Men's Singles, Men's Doubles
- 70+ age: Men's Doubles
Rules & Details for Open Individual Pickleball National event
- Email ID is compulsory for all players.
- Partners (in doubles) must have unique email IDs duplicate or shared email addresses will not be accepted.
- Eligibility: Open Nationals is Open to all Indian players registered under IPA.
- Participation limit: Each player can participate into a maximum of 3 relevant categories only.
- Fees: Entry fee per event for Singles is ₹1,500 and for Doubles per team is ₹3,000. The event will happen only if there are minimum 6 entries, else will be merged or cancelled.
- Accommodation: Accommodation will be facilitated at a cost basis for interested participants.
- Transportation: Shuttle service will be available for players.
- Food: Breakfast, lunch and dinner shall be provided to all players and officials on all the days of Open tournament.
- Prize Money: Open Pickleball Nationals will be a Prize Money event. Further details will be released later.
Player Eligibility criteria for all events in IPA Pickleball Nationals
- Under 12: Born on or after 1st Jan 2013
- Under 14: Born on or after 1st Jan 2011
- Under 16: Born on or after 1st Jan 2009
- Under 18: Born on or after 1st Jan 2007
- 30+ age: Born on or before 31st Dec 1995
- 40+ age: Born on or before 31st Dec 1985
- 50+ age: Born on or before 31st Dec 1975
- 60+ age: Born on or before 31st Dec 1965
- 70+ age: Born on or before 31st Dec 1955
Additional Info
- On Site Medical Facility: On site physio as well as Medical facility will be provided for all players.
- Documentation: All players to submit their entry form along with photograph and residential and age proof to their state bodies. The state bodies shall then provide the same to IPA. This is specific to team event.
- State Flag: Each state must carry a flag of their state association for the march past. This is specific to the team event.
- Rules and Regulations: The USAPA rules shall be applicable to the tournament.
- Final Decision: In case of conflicts, the decision of tournament director and tournament committee will be considered final decision and all parties must adhere to the decision.
Code of Conduct & Attire
- All players shall behave in proper sportsman spirit and follow the IPA and Sports code of conduct.
- The decision of referees will be considered final.
- All players will wear proper sporting attire and non marking shoes.
