KBCB is comprised of a group of Badminton enthusiasts. We are encouraging the youngsters & the elders alike to keep fit & rejuvenate.
Using this tournament platform let's take the opportunity to:
- Know each other & bring unity by networking with people having diverse cultures
- Showcase skill & gain experience playing against players of various levels
- Relax from our daily hectic schedule, office work, stress etc

Rs 600/- per team

Winner -> Rs 5K (cash) + Trophy + Medals
2. Runner-Up -> Rs 3K (cash) + Trophy + Medals
3. 2 Semi-Finalists -> Rs 1K (cash) + Medals (each)
4. All participants -> Medals

Rules & Regulations

Only for North East State Players.
Players must bring their own rackets.
Only non-marking shoes are allowed.
Yonex Mavis-350 Nylon Shuttle shall be used/provided for the Tournament.
Two teams shall be selected from each group according to highest points scored during the initial league rounds.
Each game shall be played for 15 points (best of 3). In the deciding game, players shall not change sides when a team scores 8 points. In case of duece, the team who gets a score of 17 point first is the winner.
The league matches shall be followed by knock-out matches.
From Semi-final onwards, each game is for 21 points (best of 3). In the deciding game, players change sides when a team scores 11 points. In case of duece, the game continues until one side gains a two point lead, upto a maximum of 25 points.
Faults shall be declared as per general rules of badminton game.
Players should wear suitable T-Shirt & Shorts.
Players are required to report to the Organizers at 9 am.
Players who do not turn up 10 mins after the scheduled time of the match will be assumed to have given a walkover to their opponents.
Players are required to carry their ID cards.
The organizers will not be responsible for any injuries or medical problems arise during the tournament. A basic First Aid kit will be provided.
In case of any dispute between the participating player(s) and the organizer(s), the organizers' call will prevail.
Players withdrawing from the tournament after registration will not receive a refund.
When a team is unable to play during the knock-out stage, a walkover will be given to their opponents.
Umpire's decision is final.

NOTE: Some of the points stated above may change depending upon the no. of participating teams & other unpredictable circumstances.
