Kayaking is one of the easiest water sports to learn. It begins with onshore training after
which you are on the water learning to manoeuvre a Kayak using basic forward and turning
strokes with the aid of a Coach and under the watchful eye of a Safety Boat.
The session gives you the thrill of learning the sport and racing the Kaykas, all within 2 hours.

Event FAQs
1.) When does it start and wrap up?
Fun Kayaking: Registration starts at 7:15 AM and the event will wrap up by 9:45 AM
2.) I cannot swim and I have never Kayaked?
We take special care of non-swimmers so long as you are not afraid of water and can float in
a life jacket comfortably without fear and apprehension. The session is for beginners and is
recreational in nature. You will learn the basics of paddling and manoeuvring a Kayak in calm
waters and some racing too.
3.) Is Kayaking good for Fitness?
Kayaking is great for fitness and it complements other fitness activities, like running or biking,
because it doesn't involve pounding and stressing your joints, and uses your core upper body
and burns a load of calories.
4. What do I need for the Event?
Comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty/wet. Extra set of clothes, sunscreen (if
