The CMR University Cricket Ground is a premier cricket facility located at the university’s main campus near Kempegowda
International Airport, Bengaluru. Designed for professional teams, clubs, and tournaments, the ground offers a well-maintained
turf wicket, a tennis ball turf wicket, a spacious pavilion, and dedicated players’ dressing rooms with locking facilities. The
venue is ideal for matches, practice sessions, and cricket events, with a focus on discipline, safety, and operational excellence.

- Turf Wicket: Suitable for leather ball games, ensuring high-quality play.
- Tennis Ball Turf Wicket: Suitable for tennis ball games.
- Pavilion & Dressing Room: The cricket ground includes a pavilion and players’ dressing rooms equipped with
attached bathing and restroom facilities. These areas provide locking facilities. The allotment does not include gym
facilities or other university premises.
- Dressing Rooms: Available for visiting teams and officials, who are responsible for post-match cleaning.
- Parking: Designated parking near the pavilion for teams and guests.
- Emergency Procedures: Clearly marked emergency exits and fire extinguishers in place.
- Sports Attire Requirement: Players must wear appropriate sports shoes; violators will be prohibited from using the ground.
Usage Guidelines:
- Timings: Full day (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM), Half day (Morning: 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Afternoon: 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM).
- Capacity: Maximum of 75-100 spectators per team, with prior notice required.
- Prohibited Items: Alcoholic beverages, smoking, chewing tobacco, loudspeakers (except as permitted), and plastic
use are strictly prohibited.
Banners & Sound System:
- Banners: Installation allowed only in designated areas approved by the university authorities. Additional charges
apply, and unauthorised banners are prohibited.
- Sound System: Use requires prior approval from the university administration. Permitted only for official
announcements and match commentary, in compliance with noise regulations. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
Additional Information:
- Scorer, Umpires, and Equipment Management: Scorer, umpires and sports equipment will not be provided by us
to be managed at their end.
- Safety & Compliance: Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is expected along with adherence to safety
protocols.
- Statutory Permissions: Necessary permissions and clearances must be obtained for conducting games.
- Responsibility: The university provides power supply, drinking water, and security during events. The allottee is liable
for any damage or loss during the allotment period.
- Loss of Belongings: CMR University is not responsible for loss of personal belongings or valuables.
- Food and Beverage: Cooking is prohibited. Consumption of food and beverages is allowed only in designated areas.
Teams must ensure proper waste disposal.
- Entry & Exit Procedure: All persons (team members, umpires, officials, visitors) must follow proper entry and exit
procedures and register entry/exit details at the gate.
- Damage Liability: The party is liable for any damage or loss and must comply with all terms during the allotment period.
- Permissible Gatherings: Adherence to statutory orders on gathering sizes and applicable laws is mandatory.
- Inspection Rights: CMR University reserves the right to inspect the ground during the allotment period.
- Additional Terms: Users must comply with any additional terms imposed by CMR University.
